Kibera is beautiful. There is a spiritual undercurrent that plays out everyday in Kibera. It is the conflict between light and dark, good and evil. Spiritually you FEEL the Ephesians wrestling with principalities, against darkness and wickedness in high places. Adorning the spiritual struggle is a physical patina made of rust and blood, fire, flood, and constant restoration and renewal. Life here is hard, messy and too often short. I love the place and I love the people. I see them as the future Kings and Queens, they are truly the last waiting to be the first.
